Translations – certified
For certified translations, which are often required for courts or authorities, you have to hire a sworn translator. We are certified and sworn translators (Regional Court of Darmstadt) for German and Portuguese and we are available to assist you in your projects.
CAT-Tool Trados
In order to accelerate the translation process and improve the quality of our work, we use the innovative translation software SDL Trados, a market-leading software. Thanks to this software we are able to work more efficiently with terminology databases, to do our work faster and to deliver you first-class translations.
The same segment does not need to be translated twice, because in this Translation Memory System (TMS) all translations are saved (as source and target language pair) for future use. Translation memories simplify the translator’s work and they can even reduce the translation costs in a text with a high level of repetition.

Price calculation
The price of our services is based on the standard line (55 characters including spaces). You can get the number of characters in a Word file in the option “Word count“. The number of characters will then be divided by 55 and so we will get the number of the standard lines of your document. The basis for this calculation is always the original text.
We should also mention that the end price of a standard line depends on many factors, such as the level of expertise or the legibility of the original text. Therefore we can only give you an exact price after viewing your text(s). As a rough guideline for your calculations, a standard line costs between 1,00 € and 1,60 €.
Once we have received and analysed your text(s), you will receive, free of charge, an offer for the requested service with the delivery date.
According to the urgency of the matter, we can also translate texts within few hours.
